Animation Supervisor
Ludo was an Animation and Previs Supervisor on VES Award-winning Alita: Battle Angel (2019), guiding facial work on CG Alita and leading the creation of the heavily keyframed Motorball Chase sequence.
Senior Animator on Avengers: Endgame (2019), Ludo worked on full CG sequences for the epic third-act battle. Lead Animator on Jumanji: The Next Level (2019) he worked with a small team on the third act’s Monkey Bridge sequence to create the hundreds of CG mandrills who chase the heroes across rope bridges.
Following his role as Senior Animator on Oscar-winning The Jungle Book (2016), Ludo won a VES Award for his contribution as Lead Animator to Caesar’s performance in War for the Planet of the Apes (2017). He was also Senior and Previs Animator on Spectral (2016), devising the ghostly spectrals’ movement and then concentrating on their third-act battle with the military.
Earlier career highlights include Previs Animator on The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014) and on Jupiter Ascending (2015) at Framestore.
Ludo studied 3D animation and VFX at the École Georges Méliès in Paris, having gained an art-school background in 2D.
