He became a 3D Sequence Lead on King Kong and led his team on the iconic sequence of Kong rampaging through Times Square.
As a Visual Effects Supervisor, Mark has helmed key sequences on The BFG, War for the Planet of the Apes, Alita: Battle Angel, and Avatar: The Way of Water.
Mark also supervised on Jumanji: The Next Level and Robert Rodriguez’s We Can Be Heroes as well as Suicide Squad and Peacemaker from the DC universe.
Most recently, Mark was Sequence VFX Supervisor on Wes Ball’s Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.
Mark is also an award-winning astronomy photographer and time-lapse filmmaker. His cinematic approach has earned him international recognition. Mark won the prestigious Astronomy Photographer of the Year Award in 2013. His short film, Full Moon Silhouettes went viral and has been broadcast by CNN, The BBC, and NASA.
