Rialto Channel VFX Award for 'The Hunt for the Wilderpeople'

Taika Waititi's action-adventure film The Hunt for the Wilderpeople was the night’s big winner at the Rialto Channel NZ Film Awards.
Weta digital contributed a small but significant component for the film in the movie's wild boar, and was recognised with the ‘Best Visual Effects’ award which went to Curious Film, Weta Digital, and Pixel Juice.
